Bill O’Connell, the principal of O’Connell Law Offices, practices in the areas of business and real estate law.  

Bill has handled purchases and sales of substantial real estate developments, structuring and documenting of real estate joint ventures, and all varieties of real estate financing, including construction, mini-perm, and permanent loans.

Bill also has extensive experience, representing both lenders and borrowers, in commercial loan workouts-–handling both cooperative and adversarial disputes, loan modifications and restructurings, and foreclosures--in every down real estate market over the last thirty years.  He also handles real estate disputes and issue of all kinds, including title and boundary disputes.
In addition to many years of private practice, Bill has been general counsel of a very active bank-affiliated real estate lending and investment company and general counsel of the real estate finance group of a major commercial finance company.

Bill is experienced in the full range of business legal services: formation of limited liability companies (LLCs), corporations, and partnerships; advising business owners; structuring documenting equity and debt financing for businesses; secured and unsecured lending: and dealing with all types of contract issues and business disputes.
